Looks like foxy Frenchwoman Marion Cotillard will be going from the high life (she's playing a rich philanthropist in The Dark Knight Rises) to Low Life in theaters next year! Marion has joined the cast of Low Life, a depraved drama about sex slavery. Marion is set to play a woman immigrating from Poland to America who is forced to trade sex for medicine for her ill sister. When they arrive in New York, Marion falls in with onscreen low life (and real-life (former?) crazy person) Joaquin Phoenix, who preys upon her vulnerability (ie, becomes her pimp).

Sounds like a bummer, but director James Gray has a great track record for nudity in his films (he got Gwyneth Paltrow to bare her gazongas in Two Lovers (2009) and voluptuous vixen Eva Mendes' mams in We Own the Night (2007) ), and with the tawdry subject matter we're hoping this means Nudity Hall-of-Famer Marion, who hasn't done a nude scene since 2006, returns to the top of her nudity game...where she belongs.

Nifty news, Batman fans- Mr. Skin hall-of-famer Marion Cotillard has joined the cast of director Christopher Nolan’s next bat-saga, The Dark Knight Rises. While Marion’s role hasn’t been officially announced, it’s très clear she has no hang-ups about showing skin on screen. The Oscar winner has displayed her, how you say, European sensibilities in a number of French films, like Une Affaire privée (2002), Taxi (1998), and Les Jolies choses (2001).

Details of The Dark Knight Rises are still vague, leaving the mind to roam with skinfinite possibilities. Perhaps some pussy-on-pussy action with Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman? Meow! The Dark Knight won’t be the only thing on the rise with these skinema sirens sharing the screen.

Catwoman has historically been one of the sexiest fictional characters in history, but also one of the least nude--just look at past Catwomen Julie Newmar, Michelle Pfieffer, and Halle Berry.

But if the newest casting rumors are true, Batman's slinky foe might be getting a lot nakeder.

According to a Warner Bros. intern, Oscar-winner and Inception star Marion Cotillard has been offered the part of the feline supercriminal, saying:

“Cotillard has had to turn down the offer as of now as she’s unsure whether the planned shooting start date of the next Batman movie will clash with other projects she’s either interested in or already committed to, despite the fact that she’s reportedly keen to re-team team with Christopher Nolan."

Seeing how Nolan directed Marion in Inception, we can see how he'd be excited to work with the French fox again.

And seeing How Marion's gotten stunningly, completely naked in a staggering 13 movies to date, we're willing to place bets that, unlike Halle in Catwoman and Michelle in Batman Returns, Marion wouldn't puss out on any nudity.
