We're not really what you'd call "outdoorsy types" here at Skin Central. As we always say, the entirety of film and television history isn't going to fast-forward through itself!

What we're trying to say is, going out is overrated. Especially now that winter is here..sure, it's been a mild one, but are you really going to leave the house when there's a Showtime free preview weekend
featuring the season premieres of two of the nudest shows on television (Shameless and Californication) and the premiere of House of Lies? Really?

Mr. Skin's Skin Skout caught a screening of the upcoming drama Take This Waltz at the Toronto Film Festival, and the early report confirms that comedienne Sarah Silverman appears to make her nude debut 41 minutes into the film. Sarah, along with Blue Valentine babe Michelle Williams and Bliss's Jennifer Podemski, bares full frontal as the gals casually chat in a locker room. (Williams, a veteran of 6 nude roles, bares bush again at the 51-minute mark and boobs 1 hour, 37 minutes in, but this is the only skin scene featuring nudecomer Silverman).

The always sarcastic Sarah has been on a campaign of self-deprecation since the news of her nude scene broke last winter, telling New York magazine that she gained 20 pounds for the role and that "In all honesty, I would say it's a lot closer to Kathy Bates in About Schmidt than, like, Julianne Moore in Short Cuts. I am begging you to lower your expectations!"

Speaking of lowered expectations, though the cast hasn't admitted to faking their nudes, with the film still on the festival circuit our skin technicians haven't had a chance to skinspect the footage for CGI nipples or merkins- and with Apatow regular Seth Rogen on the project, there's always a chance he brought some of that bad The Change-Up juju with him.

Our verdict? Cautiously optimistic. There IS a full frontal scene in Take This Waltz, and we're betting Sarah is looking a lot better than her comedic sensibilities will let her admit. But with the threat of CGI nudes on the horizon, we'll believe tits when we see 'em.

We're cutting the (bikini) strings this week on DVD and Blu-Ray, with Natalie Portman briefly baring her rear porthole in No Strings Attached, Michelle Williams tugging on heartstrings with an emotional (and nude) performance in Blue Valentine, and Denise Richards searching for NSA sex in Cougars, Inc.

It's also a good week for skingoria fans on DVD and Blu-ray, with scream queen Tiffany Shepis totally nude (except for the blood, of course) in The Violent Kind, and South Korean stunner San-ha Oh making a gory nude debut in I Saw the Devil.

Director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man,The Evil Dead) is known for his stubborn attachment to his casting choices, and now he's got his sights set on Hilary Swank for his upcoming big-budget fantasy Oz: The Great and Powerful. Hilary's up for the role of Wicked Witch of the East, the older sister of Mila Kunis' Wicked Witch of the West.

But the studio suits aren't exactly under Hilary's spell- fearing the box-office curse that has plagued Swank lately, they've proposed Blue Valentine's Michelle Williams for the role instead. Now it looks like Raimi's settling in for a long battle with the studio, leading us here at Skin Central to wonder: which witch is more deserving of the pointy hat?

The Best Actress category is better stacked this year for peter pullers, with Michelle Williams getting raw in Blue Valentine, Natalie Portman drinking from the fur chalice with Mila Kunis in Black Swan, and illustrious nude thespians Nicole Kidman and Annette Bening serving MILF pie in Rabbit Hole and The Kids are All Right. The lone birthday suit bummer in the race for the world’s most coveted hard bald man is Jennifer Lawrence, nominated for Winter’s Bone.

Mr. Skin's pulling hard for Michelle Williams, the one actress who showed some skin in the role she is nominated for. She soaps up in the shower before getting down with Ryan Gosling in Blue Valentine.

Natalie Portman's sinfully skinny frame and smoldering intensity were a perfect combination for her role as a demented ballerina in Black Swan. She loses the tutu in Hotel Chavalier (2007). It'll tickle more than your ribcage.

Nicole Kidman has taken the world down her rabbit hole many times, but Mr. Skin is particularly fond of her creamy can in Eyes Wide Shut (1999), where she pulls off the naked ninja move of flashing boobs and butt at the same time.

Annette Bening rides the carpet-muncher express to ladylove town with Julianne Moore in The Kids are All Right. Annette's twins are more than all right when she does the b&b (boobs and bush) mambo in The Grifters (1990).

Jennifer Lawrence has yet to shed her clothes with cameras around, but she offered up a tempting tease when she wore a bikini on The Bill Engvall Show. For now, it's still winter for Mr. Skin's bone as far as Jennifer's concerned.

Mr. Skin congratulates all the beautiful and talented nominees, and extends with his one free hand this gentle reminder: Just because you show skin, doesn't mean you can't win! Just ask Meryl Streep.

Like the Golden Globes did earlier, this year the Academy had decided to reward the actresses who had the courage to get naked and/or make out with another chick on screen with a coveted Oscar nomination.

In the Best Actress category, four of the five nominees are naked on MrSkin.com.

Annette Bening, who was nominated for making out with Julianne Moore in The Kids Are All Right, showed off all 3 B's in The Grifters. Nicole Kidman, nominated for Rabbit Hole, revealed her own rabbit hole when she got fully nude in Billy Bathgate.

Natalie Portman, nominated for making out with Mila Kunis in Black Swan, is showing off her rear porthole in theaters this weekend in the romantic comedy No Strings Attached. And finally, Michelle Williams was nominated for baring boobs and butt in the NC-17 flick Blue Valentine.

So if Jennifer Lawrence—the one nominee who didn't get naked—doesn't win the Oscar, she'll know why.

On the last weekend of 2010, Hollywood is playing its cards close to its chest (blocking some nice cleavage shots). As we enter a new decade, skin fans wanting to see boobs in the theater have two choices for new releases: Blue Valentine or nothing.

Luckily, Blue Valentine happens to feature mamtastic Michelle Williams, so no one's complaining.

Another Year

No one gets nude in the limited-release drama Another Year, which is disappointing since the film's director Mike Leigh has supplied us with some good skin over the years, including great UK T&A in the aptly titled 1993 flick Naked.

Star Ruth Sheen has never been nude, but you can see her costar, well-aged Brit babe Lesley Manville, flashing flesh in Promoted to Glory and on the small screen in UK TV shows like The Bite and The Mushroom Picker.

If you want to see some big screen boobage to ring in the Nude Year, then check out Blue Valentine, featuring the funbaggage and fanny of Mr. Skin Hall-of-Famer Michelle Williams.

Michelle strips three times in this movie, once at the 31-minute mark when she bares butt being banged from behind, then at the 40-minute mark where she shows T&A in the shower with her boyfriend, and finally an hour and six minutes in, when she gets topless and the lucky bastard gets to lick all over her nips.

Blue Valentine won't give you blue balls!

The Golden Globe nominations are in and all but two of the babes nominated for a best actress award have stripped on screen. And only Mr. Skin can tell you where their best nude scenes are!

In the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama, Halle Berry was nominated for Frankie and Alice, but if you want to spanky your franky, check her out in Monster's Ball. Nicole Kidman was nominated for Rabbit Hole and you can check out her rabbit hole in Billy Bathgate.

Natalie Portman got the nod for her role as a ballerina Black Swan, but to check out what's under her tutu you'll need to pick up Hotel Chevalier. And finally, Michelle Williams was nominated for Blue Valentine and if you don’t want blue balls, check her out in Incendiary.

In the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Comedy, Julianne Moore and Annette Benning were nominated for their role as lesbian MILFS in The Kids Are All Right. Anne Hathaway was nominated for her nude role Love and Other Drugs, so you'll want to get another look at her Mother Jugs in Havoc. The ever-popular Angelina Jolie was nominated this time for The Tourist, but to tour her naked body, go pick up the skinstant classic Gia.
