We've got a slew of A-list nudity this week as Miramax wallows in its awards-show glory by releasing its greatest Oscar tits- er, hits- on Blu-ray. Among he skintastic titles are Frida (2002), featuring Salma Hayek nude and lesbian, The Piano (1993), starring Holly Hunter's brown eye, The English Patient (1996) with nude stars Juliette Binoche and Kristin Scott-Thomas, Cold Mountain (2003), starring Nicole Kidman's milky-white mountains, and Shakespeare in Love (1998), with Gwyneth Paltrow naked. Phew!

Plus, they're not Oscar winners, but you'll still be rubbing your little bald man as Mischa Barton goes lesbo in You and I (2011) and Naoko Watanabe bares her rising suns in the bloody Japanese flick Outrage: Way of the Yakuza (2011), nude on DVD and Blu-ray.

Sure, it's Anatomy Awards time, but we hear that there's also something called the Academy Awards going on. Apparently, it's some sort of achievement for acting, directing, and the like? We at Skin Central were unimpressed until we noticed that several past winners of these so-called "Oscars" have been nude. And what better way to honor this than with a list?

The 1990s saw acclaim from the Academy coming together with onscreen nudity as never before. In fact, every woman who took home a trophy for Best Actress in a Leading Role throughout that decade had movie nudity in her filmogrphy, a trend that (so far) has continued into the new millennium. The last actress to take home a little gold man in the twentieth century was Gwyneth Paltrow. But uniting Oscar with bared flesh wasn't the only tradition Gwyneth was carrying on with her nude turn in Shakespeare in Love; she was also continuing a family legacy of undressing for the camera. Gwynnie's mom, Blythe Danner, also turned in a pair of nude performances, though she was never saluted by the Academy as her darling daughter was. Paltrow has far outdone Mommy with the volume of nude scenes in her career, which is definitely a good sign. Just imagine all the nudity we can expect from future funbag flashers in the family!

Gwyneth Paltrow hopes to become the next Jane Fonda when she releases her own fitness DVD, it has been claimed. The Oscar-winning actress will share her tips for keeping in shape on the tape, sources say, as viewers follow her moves. An insider said:

"Her idea is to show, step by step, what she does every day to stay in shape. There won't be much fancy equipment involved either, because her workout is mostly yoga, some basic Pilates and flexibility and resistance training."

There won't be much resistance to an opportunity to ogle Gwyneth in tight, skimpy workout gear.
