Technology is a great thing. Cell phones. iPods. GPS. And especially Blu-Ray. Not only does it make the home movie viewing experience more enjoyable, it makes previously hidden nudes appear, thanks to the crystal clear picture.

Today, we tip our hats to the Skin Labs and their amazing find in the cult flick Road House (1989). In addition to nudity from Julie Michaels and Laura Albert, Road House boasted some insanely hot T&A from tall, willowy blonde Kelly Lynch.

Upon the Blu-Ray re-release of the Patrick Swayze classic, our skin technicians revisited it, hoping that some previously shadowy footage would be rendered clearer. Their work was not in vain, since they were able to isolate a shot of Kelly, at the door of Swayze's cabin, slipping a little back-end burgerage. Click "more" for some through-the-legs lap-rug!

We all knew that Lisa Bonet got naked in Angel Heart, but now we have a nice, clear bush shot. And who knew that Claudine Auger, as Domino in the James Bond classic Thunderball, also had a slip of the lip in the pool scene?

Unearthing these rare nudes is like finding archaeological treasures. Only these are a different kind of dirty.

New Nudes are Big News!

“Even the greatest art works can be revitalized by new technologies,” writes Ben Greenman in the latest issue of The New Yorker.

And he’s not talking about the restoration of the Sistine Chapel.

Rather, he’s referring to the painstaking work that goes on everyday at the skinlabs here at MrSkin.com. Namely, checking to see if Heather Graham’s naked butt is visible in the newly released Blu-ray version of James Toback’s Two Girls and a Guy.

Since movies began appearing in the high-definition Blu-ray format in June of 2006, Mr. Skin’s technicians haven been re-watching every available movie to see if anything has changed in terms of nudity.

The results have been more than surprising. In fact, they’re downright skintastic, as the Huffington Post reports.

Tit was 20 years ago today ….

In celebrity skin terms, 1989 is noteworthy as a transitional time, and not always for the best . . . or the breast.

A-list stars, who just five years earlier could still be counted on for full-frontal film appearances and the occasional Playboy spread, clearly seemed to be moving in the direction of covered-up self-consciousness.

Top-notch flesh did arise, however, from late-night cable TV erotic thrillers, where a new breed of video vixen kept viewers up—way up—into the wee hours.

But let's look back at nine of the big stars who did strip down in the enduring favorites of 1989, including: Kelly Lynch nude in Road House, Jennifer Jason Leigh nude in Last Exit to Brooklyn, Bridget Fonda nude in Scandal, and more!

3 B’s in 3-D

Hello my friends, and welcome once again to Castle Rackula high in the peaks of Mamsylvania. This week I’ll be reviewing the 3-D slasher remake My Bloody Valentine.

But before I get to the movie, I have to comment on two of the previews that preceded it. The first was for Friday the 13th, out in theaters February 13th, and the second was for Last House on the Left.

I have to say, after the Halloween debacle, I was not enthusiastic about a Friday the 13th remake. And the disregard for the storyline the filmmakers showed in making Jason Voorhees the killer didn’t help. But everything I’ve seen so far looks pretty good, so I’ll reserve judgment.

My inclinations toward Last House on the Left are less charitable. But that’s another column for another day.
