"King of Underground Cinema" Eric Stanze is a huge SKINspiration to all of us here at Skin Central. A lifelong cinema devotee, Eric knew from a very young age that he wanted to become a filmmaker.
And with an independent spirit that would make his childhood idol, Dawn of the Dead (1978) legend and creator of the modern zombie film George Romero, proud, that's exactly what he did. Eric founded his own production company, Wicked Pixel Pictures, when he was in his early twenties, and has gone on to direct six films and produce many more under the Wicked Pixel imprint.
Though he's best known among horror fans for transgressive films that push the limits of cinematic violence and sexuality, Eric's films span a wide variety of horror and exploitation genres from atmospheric ghost stores (Deadwood Park, 2007) to rape-and-revenge films (I Spit on Your Corpse, I Piss on Your Grave, 2001) to brutal serial-killer flicks (Scrapbook, 2000).
His newest film is Ratline (2011), starring his frequent leading lady Emily Haack as a fugitive who stumbles into the dangerous world of Nazi occultism while on the run from a botched drug-money heist. Ratline has been praised by critics for its unique vision and intense thrills; Popmatters.com calls it "One of the most original horror experiences of the past decade".
We caught up with Eric at Wicked Pixel HQ in St. Louis, where he talked with Skin Central about his cinematic inspirations, the state of indie filmmaking in the Internet age, and what's coming next.

He’s been retired since 1984, but stylish sexploitation auteur-turned-hardcore-director Radley Metzger is back on the filmmaking scene with a trio of sexciting nude developments! Metzger is responsible for dozens of softcore and hardcore nude movies, both as a director and as founder of Audubon Films, which distributed exploitation classics like I Spit on Your Grave (1978) and I, A Woman (1965).

Horror remakes are like pubes: there are so many variations on the basic idea that no matter what your taste, there's bound to be something you like. Some are faithful to the point of obsession, like Gus Van Sant's 1998 remake of Psycho, which recreates the Alfred Hitchcock classic shot for shot. Some take certain liberties with the story, like 2009's My Bloody Valentine 3D, which takes the nudity-free original and adds a full 90 seconds of full frontal from Betsy Rue.

This week on DVD and Blu-ray, we have the skingorrific sleazefest I Spit on Your Grave (both the 1978 original and the 2010 remake), along with the 1996 skinstant classic Barb Wire. It's a triple threat of bare-breasted butt-kicking babes!
The original revenge flick that started it all, I Spit on Your Grave stars feisty firecrotch Camille Keaton as a writer who is brutally attacked by a group of backwoods hillbillies and left for dead before coming back to deliver an equally brutal vengeance. Along the way, Camille shows off every inch of her naked body. And that will have you spitting in your pants.
The equally violent and sleaze 2010 remake of I Spit on Your Grave features Sarah Butler in the main role. And just like Camille in the original, Sarah survives her vicious and sadistic treatment to take revenge on her attackers, but not before baring boobs, butt, and beaver. And that will have you spitting in your pants like its 1978 all over again!
Racktastic 90s sex symbol and PETA activist Pamela Anderson stars in the 1996 skinstant classic Barb Wire. As a bra-busting bounty hunter/club owner in dsytopian fascist future, Pamela has plenty of occasion to get naked, like when she bares T&A in the rain-soaked title sequence. Sadly, there's no full frontal so we don’t get to see whether her aversion to wearing fur counted for beavers too.

It's the perfect weekend to go for a long drive and see the fall colors. However, the Skin Team advises you not to do that, since we have a far prettier alternative--the inside of a movie theater, because this week's new releases plenty of T&A to rake up!
Stone
In the new Robert DeNiro movie Stone, supermodel skinstress and owner of G.N.A.T.s (Greatest Nipples of all Time) Milla Jovovich shows her extra perky B's while riding Bobby D. Her nude scene is so hot, they even put it in the trailer! Take in a showing of Stone, and you're bound to sport a bone.
I Spit on Your Grave
The original I Spit on Your Grave (1978) featured the firecrotched fury of skin Hall-of-Famer Camille Keaton as a rape victim who exacts deliciously bloody revenge on her scumbag attackers... and she does it completely in the buff. The new reboot, I Spit on Your Grave: Unrated has nudecomer Sarah Butler keeping up Camille's legacy by kicking ass and baring all. Revenge is a dish best served cold, but Sarah is a dish breast served hot. Very hot.
'Tamara Drewe'
Gemma Arterton is painfully beautiful, a Bond girl, quickly becoming a huge star, and isn't afraid to get naked. Fresh off her kinky nude turn in The Disappearance of Alice Creed (2009), Gemma stars in the chick flick 'Tamara Drewe' as the titular heroine who bares some slight nippage and blurry butt. It's a little less nude than we'd prefer, but any rom-com with some rackage is OK in Mr. Skin's book. You'll want to screwe Ms. Drewe!
Fiery coppertop Camille Keaton and her brutal, butt-kicking, naked turn in I Spit on Your Grave (1978) is still number on on the Skin list of naked revenge movies. As Jennifer Hills, Camille repeatedly bared her own perfect hills while taking down the worthless wastes who raped her. Eat your heart out, Charles Bronson.
When we heard that a remake was in the works, we doubted that Hollywood would be able to live up to the level of gratuitous nudity and gore that the original delivered, but I Spit on Your Grave: Unrated (2010), due in theaters on October 8, looks like it's going to be as stabbingly sexy as the '78 version!
Nudecomer Sarah Butler, a lusty brunette who's never even bared so much as half an areola before, takes over Camille's role as the out-for-blood babe in a vacation gone hideously wrong. The explicit attacks, the awesomely bloody vengeance, and the breasts, butt, and beaver galore... it's all here. Sarah even aimed her Butler at the camera to re-create Camille's iconic poster art.
