Tiny Furniture (2010)

We all know that girl- the one that went to art school (though we never heard what her major was) and has big dreams of creative success (though no one knows exactly what those are). Lena Dunham may have been one of those girls at some point, but luckily she had the presence of mind to translate that experience into the wry, dryly observational indie comedy Tiny Furniture (2010). Lena stars as Aura, a listless college graduate who has returned home to her parents' place in New York. Aura had a taste of early success when her student film became a YouTube sensation, but now the prospect of transitioning into adulthood has her paralyzed with ennui. Jemima Kirke and Grace Dunham appear in sexy supporting roles, but this is Lena’s movie, and she doesn’t waste the opportunity to show some skin. Lena is lovely in bikinis, panties, and a revealing full-body leotard throughout, but she’ll really stroke your canvas when she reveals her left love muffin for a shower scene 1 hour, 28 minutes in. The furniture may be tiny, but your wooden leg will grow long.
