Time Code (2000)

Director Mike Figgis's Time Code (2000) tells four overlapping tales, shot in continuous takes in four separate locations with four synchronized cameras, that focus on the making of a flick called Bitch of Louisiana. One story stars Saffron Burrows as the wife of producer Stellan Skarskård, a lucky duck who's having extramarital hijinks with Salma Hayek. Salma's an aspiring thespian who's also a practicing lesbian with Jeanne Tripplehorn, a jealous moneybags who plants a bug in Salma's bag. Stories interact as yarns of murder, adultery, and scummery roll out on four screens. Holly Hunter, Kyle MacLachlan, Julian Sands, Steven Weber, Leslie Mann, and cocaine also star.
