Thirteen (2003)

When aspiring actress Nikki Reed was just a teen, she co-wrote a script with production designer Catherine Hardwicke who directed the screen adaption Thirteen (2003). Set in Los Angeles where kids grow up fast, the indie flick features then-ingénue Evan Rachel Wood as Tracy Freeland. She’s a good girl who goes bad after becoming friends with the cool crowd at school. These young hussies do drugs, boys, crime, and self-harm thanks to their bratty leader Evie Zamora (Reed). Fortunately, the R rated film also features an adult storyline. Tracy’s single mom Melanie (Holly Hunter) is a recovering alcoholic who tries to appeal to her ex-husband Travis (D. W. Moffett) to help get their daughter back on the right track. But it doesn’t help that her boyfriend Brady (Jeremy Sisto) is an ex-addict. Of course, we can’t blame his character for being addicted to Melanie. Anyone who has seen The Piano (1993) knows Ms. Hunter has a hot body. No wonder she won the Academy Award! Holly was also nominated for an Oscar for her topless turn in this pic. We’re guessing it has something to do with the scene when she bares her wet breasts in the shower. In fact, her fantastically fit forty-something form is niptastic! If that’s not arousing enough, the built babe shows her muff. This film also features Deborah Kara Unger, Sarah Clarke, and Vanessa Hudgens in her movie debut. Considering the array of eye candy that’s on the screen, it’s clear Thirteen is a very lucky number!
