Brooklyn-born beauty Theresa Saldana began acting on the big screen with bit parts in the comedies I Wanna Hold Your Hand (1978) directed by Robert Zemeckis and Brian De Palma’s Home Movies (1980). But she got her big break as Robert De Niro’s sexpot sis in Martin Scorsese’s drama Raging Bull (1980). What bovine wouldn’t rant over this Italian eyeful's full-figured charms? Thankfully, right out of the pen, tempting Terri bared her bellisimo body per her nude debut in the R-rated drama Nunzio (1978). After donning a see-through slip in the action flick Defiance (1980), the alluring ingénue perfected her Mediterranean magnetism in the television biopic Sophia Loren: Her Own Story (1980), nearly surpassing the real-life Loren with her stellar sex appeal. After surviving a stalker attack offscreen, the brave babe relived her near-death experience in the TV movie Victims for Victims: The Theresa Saldana Story (1984). From anti-violence advocate to author, Theresa penned the book “Beyond Survival” (1986). Next came the flesh-filled farce The Night Before (1988) featuring Keanu Reeves, Lori Loughlin, and Theresa’s cleavage! Ms. Saldana was then cast as Rachel Scali in the crime series The Commish (1991-1996), for which she scored a Golden Globe nomination! The busy brunette could also be seen on the daytime soap All My Children (1997) and heard on the animated series Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1994) and Batman Beyond (2001). Unfortunately, Ms. Saldana passed away in 2016 but she leaves behind an anti-crime legacy on film (Gang Warz) and TV (Confessions of Crime). Ciao bella.
