The Wild Thornberrys

In the Nickelodeon animated series The Wild Thornberrys, Eliza Thornberry (voiced by the tasty and now-legal Lacey Chabert) travels the world in an RV with her parents Nigel (Tim Curry) and Marrianne (Jodi Carlisle). The senior Thornberrys are famous nature show hosts, kind of like that Croc Hunter guy and his wife--only if your dad was the annoying Steve Irwin, wouldn’t you push his ass out of the boat? However, Eliza has the magical ability to talk with animals (either she did an internship with Doctor Doolittle, or they grow some really good shit out in the jungle). Together with her teen-age sister Debbie, her pet monkey Darwin, and her feral-boy foster brother Donnie, Eliza meets many exotic animals and has wild adventures. The animated series was created by Klasky-Csupo, the same people who made the annoying Rugrats. For that alone it deserved to be cancelled at the end of it’s three year run in 2001. While former jail-bait Lacey Chabert has been squeaky clean so far, anything’s possible now that she’s turned sweet eighteen. Danielle Harris gave us just a peek at her pasty white flesh when she played the Goth chick in Urban Legend.
