Here's Hoping This Mind-Bending Show Features Lots of Nakedness
"Are you real?" a man asks during the trailer. A beautiful blonde, played by Angela Sarafyan, responds with, "If you can't tell, does it really matter?" Conveniently, this is also how I feel about boobs, but that's beside the point. This new HBO series is based on the 1973 Michael Crichton film, and it's a complete mindfuck on multiple levels. It's about futuristic, Western theme park where artificial beings/avatars live, and takes on an Inception-like perspective that examines our questionable understanding of reality. If that wasn't enough, check out the contract sent to background actors participating in a sex scene:
"This document serves to inform you that this project willrequire you to be fully nude and/or witness others fully nude and participate in graphic sexual situations. By accepting this Projectassignment, you may be required to do any of the following: appearfully nude; wear a pubic hair patch; perform genital-to-genitaltouching; have your genitals painted; simulate oral sex withhand-to-genital touching; contort to form a table-like shape whilebeing fully nude; pose on all fours while others who are fully nuderide on your back; ride on someone’s back while you are both fullynude; and other assorted acts the Project may require. The Project willalso include language and sexual situations that some may considerpersonally objectionable or uncomfortable.”
We already knew this show would feature some nudity, considering it calls HBO home, but this confirms we will most certainly see some kinky stuff—at least from the background players. The leading ladies have done some considerable nudity in the past, though, so we can only hope they'll doff their duds again.
