The Teacher (1974)

All boys need The Teacher (1974) to hold their hands on the journey to being a man — especially when she looks like Angel Tompkins! The former Chicago model was discovered by Woody Allen before getting cast in the rom-com I Love My Wife (1970) and the crime flick Prime Cut (1972). With this pic, she’s the kind of chick to make Dennis the Menace exchange his slingshot for his hot rod. That’s right, the male lead in this sexploitation scorcher is none other than Jay North of Dennis the Menace (1959-1963) fame. Although he was 22 during the filming, he plays a high schooler. His character and fellow teen Ralph Gordon (Anthony James) are smitten by their blonde instructor: 28-year-old Miss Marshall (Tompkins). And they’re willing to risk anything to win her over — or at the very least, to see her skin. Luckily for them (and us), she obliges. In fact, we get to view the nude boobs on Ms. Tompkins in the bed, boat and beyond! In other words, fast-forward to the movie’s 9-, 12-, 36-, 43-, and 52-minute marks to enjoy both of Angel’s heavenly charms! Needless to say, this teacher deserves an apple all right — from the Tree of Knowledge. In addition to its sex education, The Teacher can teach struggling auteurs a thing or two about filmmaking since the pic was shot in 12 days for a mere $65,000. As you can guess, it turned a pretty profit as well as turning Mr. Skin on!
