This Italian-made nunsploitation extravaganza delivers on all the important counts. During the time of the notorious and horrifically cinematic Inquisition, a cherubic young man accused of heresy seeks refuge within the convent where his young, lovely love has been confined by her beastly father. The uniformly alluring beginning nuns undergo tortures and torments that include unwanted lesbian advances and wicked whippings, both delivered in varying states of undress. A brutal murder is pinned on a blameless bride of Christ. Salvation comes from an unlikely source--the Grand Inquisitor himself.
