The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea (1976)

The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea (1976) is based on a Japanese story, updated for Westerners with the aw-shucks presence of Kris Kristofferson. He's the sailor and Sarah Miles is the mother of a disturbed boy who doesn't take kindly to sharing his hot mama. Things get ugly, but before that happens Sarah is smoking as she twiddles her diddle topless in front of a mirror.
