The Rules of Attraction (2002)

Roger Avary’s R-rated flick The Rules of Attraction (2002) — not to be confused with the hit sitcom Rules of Engagement (2007-2013) — features James Van Der Beek, Eric Stoltz, Faye Dunaway, Fred Savage, Ian Somerhalder, Swoosie Kurtz, Clare Kramer, and Kate Bosworth’s right nip! No wonder she’s boff-worth! Based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, The Rules of Attraction breaks genre rules since it delivers thrills, chills, romance, drama and black comedy in equal measures. Oh, and skin. Let’s not forget the movie includes views of nudity. Set at a fictional college in New Hampshire, the film centers around a great student body ... that belongs to Shannyn Sossamon! As a drug-dealing sexual predator, Mr. Van Der Beek’s character wants to van der boink her. As such, the virginal gal gets her cherry popped within the first 15 minutes of the film when she’s drugged, drunk, videotaped, and assaulted. So much for higher education. Jessica Biel finally lays her goody-too-shoes 7th Heaven schtick to rest with her portrayal of a coke-snorting, sex-crazed babe who gang bangs the entire football team. If that’s not intense enough, a food service girl (Theresa Wayman) serves up her bare breasts and bush when she slits her wrists in the bath. We get to see more of the chick’s chest when she’s fished out of the tub. Talk about being dead sexy! Although none of the principle players expose their private parts, there’s enough anonymous bouncing boobage to put the motion into this motion picture!
