The Road (2000)

Similar to The Motorcycle Diaries (2004), the Argentine adventure The Road (2000) tells the story of Manuel, a young man who takes off on his motorbike in search of his long-lost father. Traveling south through Patagonia, the speedster encounters an unexpectedly delightful roadblock--Carolina (Antonella Costa), a beautiful young woman on the run from the authorities. By inviting her along for the ride, Manuel opens himself to new dangers--and new excitements. Manuel’s nights are certainly more interesting after picking up the passenger; the raven-haired Costa quickly makes clear her interest in wild bouts of roadside sex.
