Punk-rock meatheads, brain-eating zombies, nuclear excesses of the United States military, and every delightful square centimeter of tasty tart Linnea Quigley’s edible epidermis combine for a raucous and raunchy entertainment in The Return of the Living Dead (1985). Zombie master George A. Romero teamed with writer John Russo to craft the screenplay for the genre defining flick Night of the Living Dead (1968). When it came time to make the sequel, the two had creative differences, so they split. Romero made Dawn of the Dead (1978) and Russo made the novel that would become this film. Sort of. See, while the decaying bones of the novel remain, this one was redesigned to provide more belly laughs than gut checks. When some doofuses working at a medical supply company mess around with a weird gas, they reanimate a corpse and create a zombie. When they manage to kill it, they burn the body, releasing the gas all over the place and creating a town full of zombies. From there, it's a pretty standard zombie flick about trying to escape the city before the government nukes it. But this spoof of graveyard party people and the starving, stumbling corpses who yearn to eat them is propelled by a zany anti-logic and a thrashing speed-metal soundtrack. If you've seen a million zombie movies already, what makes this one worth watching? The punk rock chick who'll get your cock thick, Linnea Quigley! Whether the pink haired Hellcat is stripping down to dance topless on top of some graves, trying to tempt a leatherclad Chad with her tight buns, or strolling naked through the fog, Linnea Quigley will quickly get you in the mood for getting brain! There are four sequels, but nothing's as good as the OG thanks to Miss Quigley. If Mr. Skin ever goes flatline, show him her, because she's flat out fine! Her work in The Return of the Living Dead could reanimate a corpse!
