The Pornographer (2001)

French filmmaker Bertrand Bonello shows off his directing, screenwriting and composing skills (as well as his starlet’s skin) in the erotic drama Le Pornographe (2001) starring Dominique Blanc, Jérémie Renier and Catherine Mouchet. Also known as The Pornographer, this aptly-titled flick should not be confused with the American pic The  Pornographer (1999) which features Rena Riffel’s nude boobs. Instead, the foreign film includes Ovidie’s bare booty. She’s a real-life porn star playing a porn star named Jenny. Now, that’s what we call range! Actor Jean-Pierre Léaud stars as Jacques Laurent, a director who shot blue movies in the 1970s. After enduring his fair share of financial hardships, the past auteur comes out of retirement to resume his career in porn. But imagine his surprise when he finds his artistic vision of yesteryear has been replaced with hardcore sex. Of course, you don’t have to pay much attention to the ins and outs of the plot. You’ll have more fun if you just focus on the ins and outs of Ovidie as she engages in some explicit un-simulated copulation on a couch. Talk about method acting! The gorgeous brunette also lifts up her dress to let her leading man eat her out. If that’s not arousing enough, she returns the favor by swallowing his member — on camera! After the dude reaches his climax, Ovidie receives a load in the face for her hard-earned efforts. Suffice it to say, pornography is a dirty business, and Mr. Skin wouldn’t have it any other way!
