The Only Witness (2003)

Poor little Daveigh Chase is The Only Witness (2003) to a brutal murder, and now she's surrounded by coppers and head crackers who are trying to solve the caper and keep her safe. The head two in her new crew are detective Vincent Spano and criminal psychologist Kristy Swanson, former lovers who have to put it all behind them to keep the girl alive and get her to testify against the killer. But what looked at first like a ho-hum mugging turns out to be a big-time political hit!
