The Mist

The Mist (2017)

Brief Nudity

Review

Originally a Stephen King novella and a 2007 film, The Mist (2017) took on a new form when Spike aired the 10-part series on the small screen. Alas, mixed critical reviews and an uninspired viewership caused producers to pull the plug on the show after one season. Despite this fact, the science fiction drama offers enough nudity to merit Mr. Skin’s interest. The saga begins when a mysterious mist suddenly rolls into Bridgeville, Maine. As you can guess, all hell breaks loose since the mist is alive and no one who gets caught up in it seems to make it out with all their limbs intact. Among the residents fearing a terrible fate are Kevin Copeland (Morgan Spector), Mia Lambert (Danica Curcic), Kimi Lucero (Irene Bedard), Shelley DeWitt (Alexandra Ordolis), and Eve Copeland (Alyssa Sutherland). The latter lady is a teacher who just got suspended for telling her students how to use condoms in sex ed class. Apparently, this Miss is more concerned with bodily mist than the town’s foggy condition. For example, in Episode 1 she doffs her duds to do it with a dude. The skintastic act is good for them and better for us since it means we get to glance at her bare back and side breast! If that’s not titillating enough, Nathalie Raven (Frances Conroy) also sheds her threads in Episode 1 to show off her bare bum while parading her naked self in … church! Looks like miracles happen every day. Can we get an Amen?
