The Men's Club (1986)

The Men’s Club (1986) asks the question, “What would a bunch of aging married guys (David Dukes, Richard Jordan, Frank Langella, etc.) kvetch about if they got together for a bullshit session?” The answer is a lot — but at least once they’re finished whining, they visit a posh brothel in San Fran to replace their loose lips with a stiff upper one! Solly Berliner (Harvey Keitel) mixes business with pleasure when he hooks up with a panty-clad prostitute named Allison (Marilyn Jones). The svelte seductress flaunts her long gams and little mams for both her man on camera and audiences at home. In fact, you’ll feel a splash in your pants when luscious Lake (Penny Baker) treats Terry (Treat Williams) to views of her nude boobs. The blonde’s bosom is so big, her parents should have named her Ocean! Meanwhile, in another room, Cavanaugh (Roy Scheider) gets busy with Page (Ann Dusenberry) whose naked chest is a real head turner. Back at home, his wife Sarah (Helen Shaver) reluctantly reveals her breasts and briefs when Cavanaugh wakes her up to have sex. Spoiler alert: the answer is no. Based on the debut novel “The Men’s Club” (1981) by Leonard Michaels, this R rated flick also features Jennifer Jason Leigh, Stockard Channing, Gwen Welles, Gina Gallego, Cindy Pickett, and Claudia Cron’s bra-clad cans! Although the movie has a low rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it includes enough flesh to feel fresh to us. In other words, Mr. Skin wants to join this club!
