The Mangler Reborn (2005)

A tech-obsessed killer seeks to quench his thirst for human blood in the creepy horror sequel The Mangler Reborn (2005). As a follow-up to the Tobe Hooper-directed original--loosely based on a Stephen King story--Matt Cunningham and Erik Gardner’s feature takes liberties with the original set-up. This time out, Weston Blakesley stars as a well-meaning repairman whose psyche is transformed by his proximity to an accursed laundry machine. With his new toy in hand, Hadley (Blakesley) sets his sights on abducting women to feed to the metal teeth of his demonic contraption. Aimee Brooks plays one would-be victim who’s kind enough to take a revealing shower before being whisked away into the metal mouth of the mangler.
