The Last Yellow (1999)

Mark Addy is a big old zero trying to become somebody in The Last Yellow (1999), the story of a loser whose killer tall tales end up making him into a potential killer. Thrown out of his mom's house, Mark ends up moving in with Charlie Creed-Miles and his screwy family. One day while spinning stories for Charlie, Mark goes too far and brags about having been a Special Air Services officer. His new buddy, mighty impressed, offers him a job as a hitman. He wants the guy responsible for beating his brother's brain to pudding snuffed out for good—and if his lady Samantha Morton ends up six feet under, well, that would be nice too. At first he's shocked by the offer, but eventually he decides to give the murder game a try. Can he off Sam, or will he end up getting off on her wondrous undie-flashing ways instead?
