The Last Ship (2015-2018)

The Last Ship is something of an anomaly on television. It's not exactly post-apocalyptic, and in fact it's more early-apocalyptic than anything else. The series follows the crew of a naval destroyer whose crew has been sent, along with research scientist Rachel Scott (Rhona Mitra) to the Arctic Circle. Not long after they arrive, they are attacked and quickly learn that a virus is beginning to wipe out portions of the population and that the US Government has all but fallen. Since their ship was outside of the hot zone when the virus outbreak began, they are given the all clear to continue their patrol, but they must now keep Dr. Scott safe, for she is the only person left on the planet who might be able to find a cure! Despite recently branching out into some tasteful nudity on shows like Murder in the First, TNT likes to masquerade as a mostly family friendly network, so don't expect a whole lot of skin on this series. Early in the second season, Rhona Mitra sported a perfect pair of pokies that's sure to please! Don't be surprised if you're suddenly launching your own warhead!
