The Last Seduction (1994)

Film fans and skinematic critics agree there are certain femme fatales that stand out in movie history. There’s Phyllis Dietrichson (Barbara Stanwyck) from Double Indemnity (1944); Kitty Collins (Ava Gardner) from The Killers (1946); Cora Smith (Lana Turner) from The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946); Matty Walker (Kathleen Turner) from Body Heat (1981); Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) from Fatal Attraction (1987); Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone) from Basic Instinct (1992); and Amy Dunne (Rosamund Pike) from Gone Girl (2014). Of course, we’d be remiss not to mention Bridget Gregory (Linda Fiorentino) from The Last Seduction (1994). First, the cunning character steals a briefcase full of cash from her hubby Clay Gregory (Bill Pullman). Then, she leaves town and hooks up with Mike Swale (Peter Berg). In fact, we get to watch her seduction which includes views of her nude T&A! After loosening Mike up with some pelvic thrusts, the dangerous doll convinces him to kill her husband who is hot on her tail. It’s easy to see why since Ms. Fiorentino hypnotizes guys. She has one of filmdom’s slinkiest bad girl bods which looks as fetching in black panties and stockings as it does in the buff! Maybe that’s why the skintastic starlet won over critics and colleagues. Thanks to her provocative pervformance, she picked up Best Actress prizes from the New York Film Critics Circle, the London Film Critics Circle, the Independent Spirit Awards, and the Society of Texas Film Critics. Plus, that doesn’t count the standing ovation in Mr. Skin’s pants!
