The Invisible Man

Review

The Invisible Man was a decent sci-fi series that originally aired with moderate success from June 2000 to February 2002. However, after forty-six episodes and two seasons, the fairy tale about the bad boy who is given the ability to become invisible came to an end. Here’s a more detailed outline of the plot: it opens with the con man Darien Fawkes (Vincent Ventresca) being busted for the third time. In order to avoid California's three-strike law, he volunteers to participate in an experiment which is run by his brother Kevin (David Burke). As a result Darien ends up with a quicksilver gland in his head that gives him the ability to become invisible. However, he is less thrilled when they discover that the gland secretes quicksilver into Darien’s brain--which poses a serious hazard for his sanity. When Kevin is killed, Darien ends up working for a top-secret government organisation who in return take care of the gland and ensure his sanity. In terms of nudity, former Penthouse pet Brandy Ledford (alias Jisel), who joined the series for its second season, sadly stayed clothed. While she has already shown everything in the aforementioned magazine, Brandy’s best skin-scenes from a movie can be found in the 2001 erotic-thriller Zebra Lounge where she engaged in some hot fake sex with Kristy Swanson.
