The Humbling (2014)

Adapted from the Philip Roth novel of the same name, The Humbling (2014) stars Al Pacino as Simon Axler, an aging movie star who often forgets his lines, falls off stage during a Broadway performance, and, in general, is losing his mind. With suicide weighing heavily on his mind, the dejected actor enters rehab, and on his release returns back home and falls in love with Pageen (Greta Gerwig), the young daughter of an old acting friend, who claims to be lesbian yet she puts the moves on Simon. As their unlikely relationship heats up, Simon finds it harder to keep up with Pageen’s youthful energy and lust for life. You’ll find yourself lusting after Greta Gerwig when you see her swimming in her bathing suit during a late-night dip. Greta will make you grabby!
