A usually cool but here out of her league actress, Pamela Reed, landed the starring role in this ill-fated series about a family court judge and her… family. The Home Court ran for precisely twenty episodes, which is probably about ten more than audiences needed or wanted to see. Expected parallels between the judge’s home life and professional stresses were tossed out with predictable regularity, though the series failed consistently and equally in both genres.
