An Army officer and his lover find a treasure trove of jewels in the noir tribute The Hessen Conspiracy (2009). When cynical colonel Jack Durant (Billy Zane) discovers a secret cache of jewels in Germany at the end of WWII, he and his seductive new lover Lt. Kathleen Nash (Lyne Renee) hatch a plan to spirit the jewels back to New York and sell them on the black market. But with the Mob after them on one side, and the Princess they stole them from on the other, it’s going to take more than witty repartee to save our lovers’ necks.
