Mom and Dad thought I loved this show because of the broad humor, the ever-likeable William Katt, the silly superheroics, and the commandingly cool Robert Culp. And while all of these components helped to make The Greatest American Hero a family favorite between 1981 and 1983, my young-but-advanced sense of skinema was already well honed.
