The Fourth Man (1983)

A Catholic writer who happens to fall easily prey to his own desires, both sexual as well as alcoholic, travels to give a literature lecture at a club in The Fourth Man (1983). While at the train station in Amsterdam he finds himself immensely attracted to a guy he sees heading in a different direction, so he follows. When he gets to the destination he finds a beautician named Christine, who he winds up bedding instead of the dude. He finds out the next morning that she’s the girlfriend of the guy he originally followed. He tries to convince her to bring the guy over, but soon he finds a film reel in her safe, containing info on three previous men who were intimate with her, and it proves to be more than a little unsettling. Playing the irresistible Christine is Renée Soutendijk, who, throughout a couple of sex and stripping scenes, gives us all three of her Bs. Is there already a waiting list to be the fifth man?
