Since here at Skin Central our whole thing is about showing flesh, it only makes sense that we're big fans of The Flesh and Blood Show (1972). In the slasher flick, eight out-of-work actors are called to a remote seaside theater by a mysterious employer to rehearse for a new play they're told is a guaranteed big hit. Shortly after their arrival, a huge storm rolls in, which means our thespians will have to sleep in the theater. But while you'd expect cigarette smoking, sexual experimentation, and all sorts of improv games, our impromptu drama kid sleepover has someone killing the actors off in a wide variety of theatrical ways. As they start dropping one by one, the question becomes if the killer is an outsider or one of the cast. To reveal the killer's identity, the dwindling survivors will have to investigate the truth about the theater’s appalling history. A bevy of stage worthy beauties bring the flesh to show in this sexploitation classic. As the bodies pile up, we get to the topless dimepiece Penny Meredith sleeping without a shirt on, all three B's from Jane Cardew as she stars in a black and white movie, funbag flashing from Candace Glendenning, Judy Matheson's mams, and Luan Peters showing us her hooters before meeting her unfortunate end. Jenny Hanley used a double for her close up, strip down sequence, which was disappointing. It's a shame it was all a ruse. With women like that, scores of fellas would be lined up to see the play they'd play with themselves thinking about. All the flesh in The Flesh and Blood Show will get your blood pumping!
