The Fish Child (2009)

Two girls from different worlds search for a place where their love will be accepted in the lesbian crime thriller The Fish Child (2009). Lala (Ines Efron) is the daughter of a prominent Argentinian judge. She is in love with the family’s Paraguayan maid, Guayi (Mariela Vitale), and runs away to Guayi’s hometown hoping to build a cabin by the lake and bring her lady love home to live Sapphically ever after. But when she arrives, Lala discovers Guayi has a tragic and mysterious past.
