The Erotic Adventures of Pinocchio (1971)

Tagged “A Bedtime Story For Adults,” the randy fairy tale The Erotic Adventures of Pinocchio (1971) spins a familiar tale of a boy made of wood into the story of a boy whose wood gets him into all kinds of trouble. Longing for a partner, the lonely Gepetta (Monica Gayle) carves herself a well-endowed mate who soon falls into the clutches of a greedy burlesque-show operator. Pinocchio (Alex Roman) is blessed with a throbbing member that grows and grows, making him the perfect subject for live sex shows that attract the masses. Corey Allen spices his bawdy bedtime story with many fun flourishes, including a Fairy Godmother (Dyanne Thorne) who can’t keep her clothes on and a voluptuous woodcarver (Gayle) fond of dress-downs. Karen Smith and Uschi Digard help round out the raunchiness in a flick that makes being a puppet look damn near irresistible.
