The End of the Night (2003)

The End of the Night (2003) is a Spanish import, a strong drama about the intersection of seemingly distinct deaths. One a series of grisly killings that ends when the last victim dies after being in a coma for five years; the other the accidental death of a woman researching the crimes for the local paper. Is there a link between the two deaths? When one of the killers is set free from prison she’ll discover the answer whether she wants to or not. This taut thriller is made even more appetizing by the liberal skin that’s poured over it like tasty gravy.
