The Des O'Connor Show

Obscure variety series from 1971 that starred English radio personality Des O’Connor and sidekick Jack Douglas. This attempt at a U.S. crossover hit the shores in the sumer of ’71, and (despite the addition of Connie Stevens) didn’t last until New Year’s. Not that you’d miss it, but the show was your typical collection of silly skits, goofy pratfalls, and thudding double entendres.
