The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley

Short-lived attempt at translating the popular Saturday Night Live character into a Pee Wee’s Playhouse sort of Saturday morning cartoon. The show was not without its assets, most notably its cast of voice actors, which included the likes of Martin Short (obviously), Catherine O’Hara, Joe Flaherty, Jonathan Winters and voice-actor extraordinaire Frank Welker. Those who adored Grimley’s moments on SNL were among the cartoon’s biggest fans, though there wasn’t enough of them to warrant a long life for this generally entertaining curiosity.
