The Butcher's Wife (1991)

A southern belle believes she has clairvoyant powers in The Butcher's Wife (1991). Marina (Demi Moore) is living with her Grammy on an island off the North Carolina coast, and when she finds a wedding ring in the belly of a fish she takes it as mystical sign. She decides to marry the next man who comes ashore, who just happens to be Leo Lemke (George Dzundza), a lost middle-aged vacationer from New York City. Leo is thrilled to have a hot young wife at his side, and they move back to his butcher shop in Greenwich Village where Marina starts dispensing free advice to his lovelorn customers. But of course Marina is much too lush a lady to stick with her dumpy new husband, and starts to take a shine to local shrink, Alex Tremor (Jeff Daniels).No nudity in this PG-13 rom-com, but Mary Steenburgen keeps it sexy during a nightclub appearance in a thin and slinky dress. Plus Demi Moore shows some pokies in her lingerie while getting out of bed. Which doesn’t leave too much in The Butcher's Wife that will stuff your sausage.
