Set in an alternate universe where the Nazis won the war and vampires live peacefully alongside humans drinking artificial blood, The Breed (2001) is an allegorical sci-fi horror mystery with elements of Alien Nation (1988) and Blade (1998). The movie follows a pair of detectives, the vampire Aaron Gray (Adrian Paul) and human Steve Grant (Bokeen Woodbine), as they investigate a serial killer who’s draining his victim’s blood.
