The Book Group (2002-2003)

The Book Group is a TV series that ran from 2002 to 2003 about a lonely American girl played by Anne Dudek, living in Scotland, who advertises a book group in a shop window as a means of meeting people. She gets a guy in a wheelchair, a stoner, Swedish football wives, played by Saskia Mulder and Bonnie Engstrom, a blue collar football freak and his wife, played by Michelle Gomez. All the women assembled are boob tube hot, though none of them get naked and show their boobs. Ironic. Saskia does strip down to her undies, which is a real pants turner.
