See, I can totally see why they’d call this The Bonnie Hunt Show. Because everyone knows Bonnie Hunt, right? She’s all famous, a household name, multiple award winner, People’s most beautiful person for five years running. Right? Oh, wrong. No, she’s an actress who’s been in plenty of movies but never really as a headliner and would barely draw a crowd if she appeared at a shopping mall. So why give her a sitcom and why call it The Bonnie Hunt Show? Didn’t they want anyone to watch? Who’d they think would watch, her family? Thirteen episodes were produced, eleven aired. Which is more than the number of people who watched. Amazingly, following up with her trend of only playing people on TV named Bonnie (she was Bonnie Kennedy in The Building and Bonnie Kelly in this) Hunt got to play Bonnie Molloy in her latest show Life With Bonnie.
