Most of watching the Oscars has always been about the red carpet and spotting the fashion
disasters- but this year I've actually got money riding on the actress categories... I was trying to figure out how to make things "interesting" if you will; I'm always watching for a good nip slip (you have to pay close attention- they don't always happen on the red carpet), and deciding who's the hottest fox of the night (that I'd be more than happy to take home).
As I was thinking for additional incentives I decided to place a bet with a Boob Bookie that I know to see if I could decide who would get the Oscar based on their nudity in the film that they're nominated for. Here are my top three picks for each category:
Actress in a Leading Role:
Anne Hathaway in Rachel Getting Married
She didn't show much in this movie- but a nip slip is technically better than nothing... The scene is redeemed by co-star Rosemarie DeWitt as she helps Anne wash herself in the tub... Yum!
Angelina Jolie in Changeling
This one was quick too, but the very idea of Angelina naked might win her the Oscar (aside from her talent of course). It's a pretty intense scene as she's getting hosed down in a mental hospital, but thanks to Skin Vision we can enjoy the moment in slow motion...
Kate Winslet in The Reader
Kate's got my winning vote in this category- The Reader was nominated for 5 Oscars, and rightfully so, but none of those nominations were for her amazing nudity throughout the film. THANK GOD FOR THE ANATOMY AWARDS. Girl deserves some credit for that sexiness.
Actress in a Supporting Role:
Taraji P. Henson in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Now- I'm really disappointed that we didn't get to see more (if you catch my drift) of Taraji in this movie, I suppose it was too wholesome or some shit to handle it... But if you want to see her black berries check out Baby Boy, there's a very steamy sex scene to tide me over till her next chance to get nekkid.
Penelope Cruz in Vicky Christina Barcelona
Understanding that there's no nudity from pretty Penelope all is forgiven when she shares a kiss with Scarlett Johansson. It's not very long sadly, but in my opinion, just long enough to get the imagination kicked into full gear to finish the scene in my head (let's just say, everyone ends up sweaty and exhausted in the end).
Marisa Tomei in The Wrestler
Here's a lady who will take home the Oscar. She plays a stripper! And she looks phenomenal- would you ever have guessed that she's 44? She's always had an amazing body... I'd love to hang out with her for a day and Skinterview her right out of those clothes and back onto a stripper pole...
