The Best Thief in the World (2004)

A young boy acts out in a most unusual way in The Best Thief in the World (2004). Izzy (Michael Silverman) is having some problems at home. His father recently had a stroke and needs constant medical attention. His frazzled, but loving, mother Sue (Mary-Louise Parker) is an English teacher whose public-school salary is barely keeping the family afloat. To deal with these problems, Izzy has developed a strange coping mechanism: he breaks into people’s apartments, rearranges their furniture, eats their food, and rummages through their drawers, but he doesn’t take anything. Still, breaking and entering is illegal, and when Izzy gets caught red-handed, the situation explodes. Speaking of red hands, did we mention Izzy gets caught by a couple wearing nothing but their birthday suits? Tanya Clarke plays the lovely lady whose lovemaking is skinterrupted by the abrupt arrival of 12-year-old Izzy. Her hubby calls the police, but Mr. Skin is busy stealing glimpses at her nubile snookers and seat meat!
