Dirty Money, White Lies (2004)

Roughly translated as “black money, white lies”, the 2004 Norwegian boob tube drama Svarte penger, hvite løgner follows police officer Sverre Fjeld (Trond Espen Seim), a soon-to-be married dude new to the police force. When Sverre crosses paths with Trude (Ane Dahl Torp), a divorced mother whose ex-hubby has a drug-trafficking past, trouble starts to brew. Sverre’s casual acquaintance with the hot mom turns into a love affair, leading the cheating cop into something larger and more dangerous than adultery.
