Super (2010)

A nebbishly nobody transforms himself into the courageous Crimson Bolt in the superhero satire Super (2010). After everyday dude Frank (Rainn Wilson)’s wife Sarah (Liv Tyler) leaves him for suave drug dealer Jacques (Kevin Bacon), Frank re-imagines himself as the fearless, if slightly demented, superhero The Crimson Bolt. Joined by similarly demented teen comics nerd Libby (Elliott Page), who styles themselves as The Crimson Bolt’s sidekick Boltie, the two begin a well-intentioned but clumsily executed campaign to rid the streets of drug dealers- oh yeah, and to win Sarah back. Liv Tyler is a delicious damsel in distress as they fight an attacker 1 hour, 18 minutes in, and Frank’s anonymous prom date bares blooming chest corsages at the 1 minute mark, but it’s Elliott Page who will really send you up, up and away as sexy sidekick Boltie. Elliot tries on their skin-tight costume at the 59 minute mark, and fights crime in their bra 1 hour, 3 minutes in. But when they beg Frank to make out with them while wearing the costume at the 1 hour, 12 minute mark, it’s super. Super hot.
