Yanks in the States may not be familiar with the skinternational drama Sunshine (1999), but it received three European Film Awards (including a Best Actor win for Ralph Fiennes) and three Canadian Genie Awards (including a Best Motion Picture victory). The German, Austrian, Hungarian, and Canadian production follows three generations of a Hungarian Jewish family from the 1890s to the 1990s. Throughout the course of the saga, you can glance at esteemed thespians in all manner of undress. As Greta Sors, Rachel Weisz gives us a quick, semi-obscured peek at her perfect peaks and patootie. Real-life mother and daughter Jennifer Ehle and Rosemary Harris both play Valerie Sors — at different times in her life. We prefer the younger portrayal because that includes views of the character’s naked T&A. Yet the flesh flashed doesn’t belong to Jen or Rose — instead it’s a body double! Nevertheless, the mother and daughter team shared a Best Supporting Actress win at the Satellite Awards. Of course, Mr. Skin has a statuette in his pants for Deborah Kara Unger’s performance. As Carole Kovács, she drops her drawers for Sors (Fiennes) under a tree. The skintastic act lets us see her fluffy muff up close! The film also features Mark Strong, Miriam Margolyes, Molly Parker, William Hurt, and Ms. Ehle’s pajama pokies. Sweet dreams! Time magazine and the National Board of Review put this motion picture on its Top Ten list of films from 2000. But the movie’s boobs and pubes make it number one with us!
