Sun Don't Shine (2012)

A couple takes a road trip through Central Florida. That's all that really happens in director Amy Seimetz' feature debut Sun Don't Shine (2012), but underneath the surface there's so much more. As Crystal (Kate Lyn Sheil) and Leo (Kentucker Audley) speed across the humid Florida landscape, we learn that they're on the run following some sort of crime (we're not sure exactly what) and that Crystal is hiding a terrible secret from her past (although we're not sure what that secret is). Secrets aren't the only thing that is revealed in Sun Don't Shine, either--5 minutes in Kate strips to her bra while riding in the car, and Kit Gwin also exposes her undies in an open shirt. Sun Don't Shine will make you rise, son.
