Cinemax throws its hat into the original drama ring with Strike Back, their collaboration with UK cable channel SkyTV. This spy drama stars Sullivan Stapleton as Damien Scott, a hard-partying playboy who, after being kicked out of the Army, lands in the top-secret lap of spy agency Section 20. Also new to Section 20 is Michael Stonebridge (Philip Winchester), a British soldier who is disciplined, respectful, sober... basically the exact opposite of Damien. Under the command of Col. Eleanor Grant (Amanda Mealing), this odd couple hunts an international terrorist who is planning a massive WMD attack. Expect an explosive mix of graphic violence and gratuitous nudity as our heroes chase terrorists and tail-- provided by the likes of Orla O'Rourke, Natalia Avelon, Rachel Shelley, and more-- with equal skintensity.
