Such is the dilemma and conflict of the humorous, poignant, and raw Straightman (2000). A no-budget feature that relies on warty realism and pudgy nudism for its primary special effects, Straightman succeeds on wits, grit, and cast chemistry among an ensemble that is laboring for love more than glory.
