Still Waiting... (2009)

The sequel to the 2005 comedy Waiting…, Still Waiting… (2009) was a straight to video sequel written by the first flick's screenwriter Rob McKittrick. But if you're watching and waiting for the big name stars from the first film like Dane Cook, Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris to show up, you're going to be waiting forever. They're not in it. The movie revisits Shenaniganz, the tacky theme restaurant that was the setting for the first movie. But this time around, there’s a new manager named Dennis (John Michael Higgins), who needs to sell nine grand worth of food in one night to get a big promotion. It ends up that a Hooters-style breastaurant called Ta-Tas has just moved in across the street is threatening to put Shenaniganz out of business. With no shot at competing with waitresses that hot, it's up to Dennis and the crew to come up with all sorts of moneymaking schemes to keep the restaurant afloat. The movie shows us Allison's (Maggie Lawson) first day at Ta-Tas where she's introduced to Raddimus (Luiz Guzman) and his famous nut flashing game, but is lacking in real skin. Alanna Ubach, who showed fake bush via a body double in the first movie, still doesn’t get naked herself but graciously allows yet another body double to bare her bazooms in her place. Those are some phenomenal funbags, but are unfortunately anonymous, so if you were hoping to see Alanna’s melonas, keep waiting. We do get to see Maggie Lawson looking hot in the totally not Hooters hotpants and tank top uniform, though. Good luck getting customers to rack up a bill at Shenaniganz when you could pay to have that rack in your face instead! Half priced apps can't compete with half naked babes! Clever flair can't compete with a great pair! There are naked thrills out there waiting for you, just not in Still Waiting...
